IIT Gandhinagar's Research & Development Office has released Advertisement No. CON/12123/Advt0286 for 1 Project Manager post under Prof. Manish Jain in the Center for Creative Learning. The role supports the Samagra Shiksha KGBV Gujarat project, an education outreach and research initiative. This is a temporary position for one year, ideal for candidates experienced in educational programme management, government liaison, or research and evaluation work. As Project Manager, you would plan, execute, monitor, and evaluate educational and research activities under this project, coordinate with government departments and school administrators, and prepare evidence-based reports from field data.

Beyond project planning, the role covers field implementation (visiting project sites across India to check quality), stakeholder engagement (working with government officials, educators, and students), research and analysis (including STATA-based data work), community outreach (grassroots training programmes), and documentation (writing case studies and technical reports for the project).

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc. degree with at least 4 years of post-qualification experience.
• Experience: At least 2 years of experience in two or more of these areas — Government & Institutional Liaison, Educational Program Management, Educational Research & Impact Evaluation, or Teacher Training and Capacity Building.
• Marks: Minimum 60% or equivalent grade from graduation onwards, and 55% in Class 10 and 12.
• Desirable: experience in project management, field implementation, stakeholder engagement, STATA-based research and analysis, and community outreach.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 60,000 to Rs. 1,25,000, depending on qualification and experience.

Selection Process

The selection has these stages:

1. Shortlisting: Your application is screened based on qualification and quality of relevant experience.
2. Written Test: Shortlisted candidates may be called for a written test at the IITGN campus.
3. Interview: Followed by a personal interview.
