Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar (IIT Gandhinagar), through its Research & Development Office, has released Advertisement No. SPON/10455/Advt0298 dated 17 August 2026 for one Project Associate-II position in the Department of Electrical Engineering, working under Prof. Nihar Ranjan Mohapatra. The position supports the Silicon and Advanced Semiconductor Manufacturing Research and Training Hub (SAMARTH) project. This is a one-year contract role, extendable based on your performance — a solid opportunity for engineering graduates who want hands-on research experience in semiconductor devices and analog electronics at one of India's premier technology institutes, based in Palaj, Gujarat.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: M.Tech./M.S. or an equivalent qualification in an appropriate discipline, OR B.Tech./B.E./M.Sc./M.C.A. or an equivalent qualification with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• Academic Record: You need at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) from graduation onwards, and 55% marks in Class 10 and Class 12.
