IIPS, a Deemed-to-be-University based in Mumbai and one of India's premier institutes for population research, has invited applications for one ad-hoc position of Senior Project Officer - Writing under its research project titled "SAHELI: Study and Action on Hysterectomy: Evidence on Women's Health through the Life Course in India". This is a purely temporary, project-based position for an initial duration of 6 months, which is likely to be extended depending on project progress. Strong academic writing and publication experience is a must — you will be responsible for literature reviews, manuscript drafting, and technical reports for the project, working closely with the project head and coordinators. This role suits a postdoctoral researcher or recent PhD graduate who enjoys academic writing more than fieldwork.
