Doctors with an MD/DNB in Radio-Diagnosis or an equivalent postgraduate degree can attend the walk-in or register for an online interview. ACTREC Radiodiagnosis Recruitment 2026
ACTREC, a grant-in-aid institute of the Department of Atomic Energy under Tata Memorial Centre, has issued Advertisement No. ACTREC/Advt-169/2026 for medical positions at Kharghar, Navi Mumbai. This is one recruitment notice covering Senior Resident and fellowship tracks in diagnostic radiology, cancer imaging, pediatric and musculoskeletal onco imaging, and interventional radiology.
The appointment runs from the date of joining until 31 July 2027, and selected doctors must be ready to join immediately. The notice does not state a fixed vacancy count, so you should apply for the specific track that matches your training without assuming how many seats are available.
ACTREC offers two interview routes for this notice. You may report at the Navi Mumbai venue for the walk-in interview, or you may send the required documents by email to register for an online interview. Hostel accommodation may be available on campus, but it depends on availability and is not guaranteed.
Positions Covered
- 1-Year TMC Fellowship in Cancer Imaging
- 1-Year TMC Fellowship in Pediatric and Musculoskeletal Onco Imaging
- Senior Resident in Diagnostic Radiology / Cancer Imaging
- 1-Year TMC Fellowship in Interventional Radiology
- Senior Resident in Interventional Radiology
All the named tracks belong to the same Department of Radiodiagnosis notice and use the same qualification, age rule, interview date and general application instructions. The notification repeats some track names in its extracted list but does not give reliable post-wise seat numbers.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You must have an MD/DNB in Radio-Diagnosis or an equivalent postgraduate degree.
- Nationality: The notice is open to Indian nationals who meet the stated medical qualification and age conditions.
- Joining: You must be able to join immediately if selected.
- Track choice: Your application email should clearly name the Senior Resident or fellowship post for which you want to be considered.
The notice does not list a separate minimum experience period. However, gross pay for a Senior Resident can vary with qualification and experience, and ACTREC may use qualifications or experience above the minimum level when it needs to limit the interview group.
Age Limit
- Your maximum age is 40 years as on 18 August 2026, the advertisement date.
- SC/ST relaxation: 5 years.
- OBC relaxation: 3 years.
- Persons with disabilities: 10 years, using the terminology stated in the official notice.
Keep valid category and age documents ready if you claim a relaxation. ACTREC will check the 40-year limit and applicable relaxation against the advertisement date.
Salary
- Senior Resident with MD/DNB: Rs. 1,33,623 per month gross, with pay up to Rs. 1,45,530 subject to experience.
- 1-Year TMC Fellowship with MD/DNB: Rs. 1,33,623 per month gross.
- Overall notified range: Rs. 1,33,623 to Rs. 1,45,530 per month gross, depending on the designation and applicable experience.
- Hostel: Campus accommodation may be provided subject to availability.
The notice also sets a Rs. 1,33,623 security or caution deposit for Senior Residents and 1-Year Fellows. It can be paid when you join or deducted from salary in five equal instalments, and it is refunded without interest after successful completion under the notice conditions.
A resident may leave after completing 5 months of service by giving one month’s notice, making 6 months in total, and can then receive the deposit refund. Leaving without the required notice can lead to forfeiture of the final 30 days’ salary. A 1-Year Fellow who leaves before completing the fellowship can lose the entire deposit.
Selection Process (No Fixed Written Exam)
The main selection stage is the walk-in or online interview. ACTREC can screen the documents and restrict the number of people called by considering vacancy needs, qualifications, experience and overall profile.
- Document screening: ACTREC checks your medical postgraduate qualification, age and supporting records.
- Shortlisting: People choosing the online route receive an interview link only if shortlisted.
- MCQ, if used: Tata Memorial Centre reserves the option to use an MCQ or qualifying benchmark when applications are high, but the notice gives no paper pattern.
- Interview: The panel assesses suitability for the selected radiodiagnosis track.
- Final selection: The Director’s decision on cut-offs, shortlisting and selection is final.
Because no question count, marks, duration or syllabus is published, there is no separate exam pattern to rely on. Prepare instead to discuss your radiodiagnosis training and the fellowship or Senior Resident track named in your application.
