The International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), a Deemed-to-be-University under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, has released a notification to hire 1 Placement Officer at its Mumbai campus. IIPS is one of the leading institutions in India for research and postgraduate teaching in population studies, and the Placement Officer will handle placement and career services for its students, working closely with industry recruiters and academic departments. This is an initial 6-month contract, extendable based on your performance — a good opportunity if you have recruitment or campus placement experience and want to work with a premier government research institute.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Post Graduate degree in any relevant field.
• Preferred Experience: Industry or corporate recruitment experience is preferred, along with academic-industry liaison work.
• Preferred Skills: Student development and training skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills, event planning and coordination, and an understanding of job market trends and employer expectations.
• Also Useful: Familiarity with resume writing, interview preparation, and aptitude testing helps you support students better.
• Technical Skills: You should be comfortable using Excel, ERP systems, and placement portals for data management.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 45 years old to apply for this post.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated salary of up to Rs. 70,000 per month, based on your qualification and experience.
• If you are a retired public sector employee, your salary will be fixed as per Government of India (GOI) norms instead.

Selection Process

IIPS has full discretion over how it shortlists and selects candidates for this post:

2. Written Test / Skill Test: IIPS may hold a written test or skill test, if it decides one is needed.
