IIM Mumbai Manager (Campus Facility Services) Recruitment 2026: Overview

Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai), the Powai institute on Vihar Lake Road that was earlier known as NITIE, is hiring a Manager (Campus Facility Services) to head its Campus Facility Services Office. The person selected will run housekeeping, pest and vector control, waste handling, water and sanitation monitoring and general hygiene across the academic blocks, hostels, staff residences, guest house, library, auditorium and sports areas of a fully residential campus. This is not a teaching or faculty post, and it is not a regular appointment either — the institute is filling it purely on a tenure, deputation or contract basis, with an initial tenure of five years. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Nature of engagement: The post is offered purely on tenure, deputation or contract terms, and the initial tenure or deputation appointment runs for five years.
• Lower post and consolidated pay: IIM Mumbai may hire a candidate for a lower post if it finds that a better fit, and it may instead engage a candidate on a suitable consolidated monthly pay.
• Campus housing: Accommodation on campus may be given subject to availability, with electricity and water charged as actual. If you take institute accommodation, you will not draw House Rent Allowance.
• Family benefits: Employees and their dependants get medical facilities under institute rules, and Children Education Allowance is admissible for up to two children as per central government norms.
• Round-the-clock role: The institute expects a full 24x7 commitment to campus operations, so apply only if that suits the way you work.
• Experience that counts: Work done on a part-time or daily-wage basis is ignored when the screening committee works out your relevant experience. Qualifications cannot be relaxed, though experience may be relaxed for an outstanding administrative record.
• Serving employees: Candidates in government, semi-government or public sector service must apply through proper channel and upload a No Objection Certificate from their present employer.
• Provisional appointment: Any appointment order is provisional and subject to character, antecedent and police verification along with a check of your original documents. Fabricated or altered papers found later mean cancelled candidature and terminated service.

• Head the Campus Facility Services Office and plan, organise and supervise every campus upkeep function
• Manage housekeeping and cleanliness across academic, administrative, hostel, residential, guest house, library, auditorium and sports areas
• Run pest, rodent and mosquito control work, including anti-termite treatment, anti-larval spraying, fogging and breeding-site management
• Oversee collection, segregation, transport, disposal and treatment of solid, horticultural, biomedical and e-waste
• Monitor water tank cleaning, drinking-water testing and sanitation and hygiene standards across the campus
• Prepare tenders and service level agreements, track contractor performance, certify bills and close complaints
• Coordinate sanitation, drinking water, waste and vector control with project and construction contractors working on campus
• Handle guest house and hostel room allocation, visitor management and the logistics for institute events, meetings and examinations
