CRPF General Duty Medical Officer Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is holding a walk-in interview for General Duty Medical Officers (GDMOs) on a contractual basis. The doctors will serve CRPF battalions, Composite Hospitals, Group Centres and training institutions, and the CRPF recruitment page notes that NDRF units are covered too. Both male and female doctors can apply.

There is no written exam and no online form. You simply turn up at one of five interview centres in Prayagraj, Rampur, Srinagar, Jammu or Pune on the same morning. The DIG (Recruitment) at the CRPF Directorate General issued the advertisement on 19 October 2026.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contractual engagement: You are hired on a contractual/hiring basis, not as a regular CRPF officer.
• No TA/DA: CRPF pays no TA/DA during the period of contractual engagement.
• Medical fitness: The interview is followed by a medical examination, so plan to stay on for it at the centre.

Application Submission Notes

Report at your chosen centre at 09:00 am on the interview day. Bring a plain-paper application with the post name written at the top, your original documents with photocopies, and three recent passport-size photographs.

Each centre interviews doctors for a specific set of units:

• Composite Hospital, CRPF, Prayagraj: 93 Bn, RTC Amt and GC CDLI.
• Composite Hospital, CRPF, Rampur: CH Rampur.
• Group Centre, CRPF, Srinagar: 25, 45, 49, 96, 115, 177, 180 and 182 Battalions, the largest group in this drive.
• Composite Hospital, CRPF, Jammu: 38 Bn and 52 Bn.
• Composite Hospital, CRPF, Pune: RTC Latur.
