Indian Highways Management Company Limited (IHMCL), an initiative of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), is looking for two experienced Product Managers to lead two of its flagship digital platforms. One position is for the RajmargYatra App -- NHAI's citizen-facing super-app for highway travellers covering FASTag recharges, toll passes, SOS emergencies, and grievance redressal. The other is for the 1033 Helpline -- India's emergency helpline for national highways that connects distressed travellers to responders in minutes. Both are high-impact roles where you will own the product end-to-end and drive its next phase of growth. This is a contractual engagement for 3 years, extendable by 2 more years based on performance.

Who Can Apply?

Basic Qualification (For Both Posts):

• Qualification: You need a Bachelor's degree in Science, Computer Application, Technology, Engineering, Design, Business, Commerce, Economics, or any other discipline with relevant experience from a recognised university or institute.

Desirable Qualification:

• Master's degree, MBA, or PGDM in Science, Computer Applications, Technology, Engineering, Design, Product Management, Information Systems Management, or Technology Management from a recognised university.

Experience (Product Manager -- RajmargYatra App):

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on product management experience managing large-scale, consumer-facing digital platforms, including at least 2 years of end-to-end ownership of a B2C mobile app (Android/iOS).
• Proven track record of driving product growth -- user acquisition, engagement, retention, and funnel optimisation.
• Experience with design tools like Figma or Sketch, product analytics tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude, and Agile/Scrum methodologies using Jira or similar.
• Hands-on experience with transaction-heavy and regulated digital platforms such as payments, mobility, or transport ecosystems.

Experience (Product Manager -- 1033 Helpline):

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience managing large-scale, mission-critical digital platforms, including emergency response and public safety systems such as 1033, 112, 108, or comparable high-availability platforms.
• Strong experience in CRM, case management, grievance management, workflow automation systems, and mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience in system integrations including API-based and microservices-driven integrations.
• Experience managing technology vendors and system integrators with milestone-based delivery and UAT coordination.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years as on the last date for receipt of online applications (24 March 2026).

Salary

• Monthly salary ranges from Rs. 2,00,000 to Rs. 3,00,000.
• Higher salary may be considered in exceptional cases based on your qualifications, experience, and market benchmarks, with approval from the competent authority.
• You will get TA/DA and hotel accommodation for official travel within India at rates equivalent to Manager-level officers in IHMCL.
• Leaves: 8 Casual Leaves and 15 Sick Leaves per calendar year (prorated from date of joining). All leaves are non-cumulative and non-encashable.

• Manage external development vendors covering requirement definition, deliverable review, and timely releases

• Analyse user behaviour using analytics tools to identify drop-offs and optimise conversion funnels
• Handle integrations with payment gateways, FASTag ecosystem, banks, and third-party service providers
• Coordinate with NHAI, IHMCL leadership, technology partners, and operations teams across stakeholders
