ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (ICAR-IVRI), Izatnagar is hiring a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for the Kisan Sarathi 2.0 project through a walk-in interview. ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute (ICAR-IVRI) is one of India's premier veterinary research bodies, based in Izatnagar, Uttar Pradesh. The institute is engaging a Senior Research Fellow (SRF) on a purely temporary and contractual basis under the project Kisan Sarathi 2.0: Enhancement, Operations and Maintenance. This is a research role linked to the ICT-based farmer advisory platform run by the ATIC (Agricultural Technology Information Centre) unit.

The engagement is co-terminus with the project and is likely to continue up to March 2027 or till the project is completed, whichever is earlier. This is a good chance for a research-minded postgraduate to gain hands-on experience in a national-level agricultural extension project.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: A Master's degree in the relevant subject, along with a 4-year or 5-year Bachelor's degree.
• OR: A Post-graduate degree in Basic Sciences (with a 3-year Bachelor's plus a 2-year Master's) with NET qualification and 2 years of research experience.
• Desirable: Working knowledge of computers and MS Office, proficiency in written English (as shown by published work or thesis), good communication skills, and experience in research projects.

Age Limit

• Your age should be a maximum of 35 years as on the date of interview.
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation for SC / ST / OBC / Women candidates is given as per government rules.

Salary

• You will get a fellowship of Rs. 37,000 per month plus HRA as per ICAR guidelines.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the walk-in interview.

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview)

There is no written exam. Selection is done through a walk-in interview:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend the interview on 4 August 2026 at 10:00 AM with all original documents.
2. Document Verification: Your original certificates and details are verified at the venue.
