Educational Consultants India Limited (EdCIL), a Mini Ratna Category-I Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has invited applications for the post of Young Professional. A total of 7 vacancies are available across four streams: General, Statistics, Economics, and Legal.

Selected candidates will be posted at the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Shastri Bhawan, New Delhi. This is a contract-based role with a fixed monthly salary of Rs. 70,000.

Who Can Apply

You must hold a degree from a top-ranked institution to be eligible. The ranking requirement varies by stream:

• General (4 posts): B.Tech/B.E from a Top 200 NIRF Engineering Institution or QS Top 200 International University; OR Master's degree from a Top 200 NIRF University or Top 125 NIRF Management Institution
• Statistics (1 post): Master's in Statistics or Operations Research (OR) from a Top 200 NIRF University or QS Top 200 International University
• Economics (1 post): Master's in Economics or Public Policy from a Top 200 NIRF University or QS Top 200 International University
• Legal (1 post): LLB or LLM from a Top 40 NIRF Law Institution

All qualifying degrees must have been obtained on or before 31 December 2025. Freshers are welcome to apply — no prior work experience is required.

• Maximum age: 32 years as on 31 December 2025

Salary

• Rs. 70,000 per month (consolidated, all-inclusive)
• This is a fixed amount — there are no annual increments

Contract Duration

• Initial contract of 1 year
• Can be extended by 1 year at a time based on your performance
