BEL, a Navaratna Company under the Ministry of Defence and India's premier professional electronics company, has released Advertisement No. 383/HR/CS/Rec/Legal/2025-26 (dated 29 July 2026) for one Probationary Legal Officer at its Bengaluru Complex. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Law (LLB/BL) from a recognized Indian University.
• Marks: General category candidates need First Class; PwBD candidates need a pass class in their LLB/BL degree.
• Your degree specialisation must match what is prescribed in the advertisement, or you will not be considered for selection.

Age Limit

• Upper age limit is 25 years as on 01 July 2026 for UR category candidates.
• Age Relaxation: PwBD candidates with minimum 40% disability get 10 years relaxation. Ex-servicemen get relaxation as per Government guidelines.

Salary

• Selected candidates get a pay scale of Rs. 40,000-3%-1,40,000 in the E-II grade.
• In addition to the Basic Pay of Rs. 40,000, you get Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, 35% of your Annual Basic Pay as Perquisites, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Group Life Insurance, Medical reimbursement, Provident Fund, NPS, and Gratuity as per Company rules.

Application Fee

• General / OBC (NCL) candidates: Rs. 600 + 18% GST
• SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: No fee
• Payment mode: Online only, through SBI Collect. The fee is non-refundable, and cheque, DD, or cash payments are not accepted.

Selection Process

The selection is done in stages:

1. Written Test: Carries 85 marks. You need at least 35% marks (General) or 30% marks (PwBD) to qualify. The test will be held in Bengaluru only.
2. Interview: Carries 15 marks. Candidates who clear the Written Test are shortlisted for Interview in a 1:5 ratio. The same 35%/30% qualifying marks apply.
3. Final selection is based on your combined performance in both the Written Test and Interview.

2. Fill in the form and attach self-attested photocopies of your SSLC/10th marks card, LLB/BL degree certificate, final marks sheet, and (if applicable) caste/tribe/disability certificate.
