National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) is hiring 17 Electrical Engineers across three posts – Dy. General Manager, Assistant Manager and Engineering Associate-I – on a re-employment basis for retired Central/State Government and PSU officials. NCRTC, the corporation building the Namo Bharat RRTS network connecting Delhi, Meerut, Gurugram-SNB-Alwar and Panipat-Karnal, has released Vacancy Notice No. 28/2026 for 17 Electrical Engineer posts on a re-employment basis. These posts are meant for retired officers of Central/State Government departments and PSUs who have hands-on experience shifting EHT lines, cables and overhead electrical infrastructure that comes in the way of the Namo Bharat corridor. There is no written exam – selection is through document verification and interview only. This is a solid opportunity for experienced, superannuated electrical engineers who want to keep contributing to India's biggest urban rail infrastructure project.

Selected candidates will be posted at the Delhi-Bawal and Delhi-Panipat-Karnal Namo Bharat Corridors of NCRTC, and may be assigned other duties based on business requirements, including shift operations. The initial term of contract is 1 year, which may be extended further depending on the Corporation's requirement and your performance.

Who Can Apply?

For Engineering Associate-I/Electrical (Rs. 65,800/month):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Electrical) or Diploma (Electrical) or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 20 years working in Central/State Government or PSUs
• Superannuation Scale: CDA Rs. 56,100-1,77,500 (Level 10) or Rs. 53,100-1,67,800 (Level 9) or above, or IDA Rs. 50,000-1,60,000 (E2) or above

For Assistant Manager/Electrical (Rs. 75,200/month):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Electrical) or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 20 years working in Central/State Government or PSUs

For Dy. General Manager/Electrical (Rs. 1,09,800/month):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech (Electrical) or equivalent
• Experience: Minimum 20 years working in Central/State Government or PSUs
• Superannuation Scale: CDA scale with 3 years of service in Rs. 78,800-2,09,200 (Level 12) or above, or IDA Rs. 80,000-2,20,000 (E5) or above

Desirable for all posts: experience in Haryana Vidyut Nigam or a similar utility, plus 5 years of experience in construction of EHT lines and cables of 132 KV or higher voltage.

Important: All essential qualifications must be from a UGC-recognized university, a UGC-recognized Deemed University, or an AICTE-approved course from an autonomous institution. If you are claiming an equivalent qualification, you will need to submit a copy of your equivalence certificate. If your Degree/Diploma in Management has a dual specialization, one of the specializations must be specific to the advertised post.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for all three posts is 62 years as on 23 July 2026.
• Since these are re-employment posts, you must already be a superannuated (retired) government or PSU officer.

Salary

• Engineering Associate-I/Electrical: consolidated remuneration of Rs. 65,800 per month.
• Assistant Manager/Electrical: consolidated remuneration of Rs. 75,200 per month.
• Dy. General Manager/Electrical: consolidated remuneration of Rs. 1,09,800 per month.
• You will also get HRA and other benefits as per NCRTC's company policy.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection happens in these stages:

1. Document Verification: Carry your original certificates – if you don't clear document verification, you cannot attend the interview.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates who meet the eligibility criteria will be called for an interview. The venue, date and time will be shared in advance.
3. Medical Fitness: You must be physically and medically fit for the post.

Your admission to all stages of the selection process is purely provisional, subject to meeting the eligibility criteria. If you are found ineligible at any stage – even after appointment – your candidature or services will be summarily cancelled.

• Oversee construction contractors executing EHT line and street-light pole relocation work
• Monitor safety compliance during electrical infrastructure shifting near live corridors
• Coordinate with state electricity boards such as Haryana Vidyut Nigam for approvals and clearances
• Prepare progress reports and update senior management on shifting work milestones
• Resolve on-site technical issues related to cable laying and line shifting
• Ensure shift operations run smoothly, including night and emergency work when required
