Who Can Apply?

For Civil Department (P.Way, USFD Testing, Bridge Maintenance) - 6 Posts:

• Qualification: You must be a retired Indian Railways employee with experience in P.Way maintenance, USFD (ultrasonic flaw detection) testing, or bridge maintenance work.
• Retired Pay Level: CDA Scale Level-06 or Level-07 (Level-08/09 counted only if granted through pay upgradation, not promotion).

For Mechanical Department (Open Line C&W Cadre) - 2 Posts:

• Qualification: You must be a retired Indian Railways employee with open line C&W (Carriage & Wagon) Cadre experience in the Mechanical department.
• Retired Pay Level: CDA Scale Level-06 or Level-07 (Level-08/09 counted only via pay upgradation).

For S&T Department - 2 Posts:

• Qualification: You must be a retired Indian Railways employee with experience in the Signal & Telecom (S&T) department.
• Retired Pay Level: CDA Scale Level-06 or Level-07 (Level-08/09 counted only via pay upgradation).

For OP&BD Department - 1 Post:

• Qualification: You must be a retired Indian Railways employee with experience in the Operations & Business Development (OP&BD) department.
• Retired Pay Level: CDA Scale Level-08 to Level-11.

Note: Only your substantive/regular pay level at the time of retirement counts — your MACP pay level or grade pay is not considered. If you held an SSE-equivalent post and retired from Level-08/09 purely due to post upgradation, you will be treated as Level-07 for this re-employment.

Age Limit

• You can be re-employed up to a maximum age of 65 years.
• On the date of the walk-in interview, your age should not be more than 64 years — at least one year of residual age before turning 65 must remain.
• DFCCIL will give preference to retired employees who are in good health.

Salary

• Your pay will be fixed as per DFCCIL's HR Policy (No. 28/2022 and No. 07/2026) based on the level from which you retired — exact figures are not published in the advertisement.
• You will get Conveyance Allowance and Mobile Charges as per DFCCIL rules. No other allowance is admissible.
• If you travel on official duty, TA/DA and lodging will be paid as per the extant HR policy.
• You will get 2 days of leave for every completed month of your contract — this leave cannot be carried forward to the next year.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

DFCCIL will select candidates in 2 stages:

1. Document Verification and Walk-in Interview: Bring your original documents to the venue. Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria after document checking will be allowed to sit for the interview.
2. Medical Examination: If selected, you must clear a medical fitness check-up before you get your appointment offer.

Selected candidates are placed on a panel and re-employed based on DFCCIL's actual requirement — being on the panel does not guarantee immediate deployment.

How to Apply

1. Check that you meet the eligibility criteria for your department (see the table above).
2. Fill in the prescribed proforma attached with the official advertisement.
3. Attach self-attested photocopies of your PPO (as per 7th CPC), Service Certificate, Last Pay Slip, Aadhar Card, cancelled cheque or bank passbook copy, and two photographs.
4. Report to the DFCCIL Prayagraj Unit office, DFCCIL Building, Subedarganj, Prayagraj 211012 between 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on the interview date.
5. Attend the walk-in interview with your original documents for verification.

• Guide junior DFCCIL staff using your Railways field experience
