RVUN Multi-Post Recruitment 2026 — 2005 Vacancies

RVUN, on behalf of the five State Power Companies of Rajasthan (RVUN, RVPN, JVVN, AVVN, JdVVN), is hiring 2005 candidates across Junior Engineer-I, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II posts. Depending on the post, you need 12th pass, graduation, or an engineering degree. You can apply online from 5 August 2026 to 25 August 2026. RVUN Common Recruitment 2026 - 2005 Posts

Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (RVUN) has released a Common Recruitment Notification (Advertisement No. RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/01) covering Junior Engineer-I (Detailed Advt. No. 02), Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II (Detailed Advt. No. 03) across five Rajasthan State Power Companies engaged in generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity. This is one of the largest recruitment drives in the Rajasthan power sector in recent years, with 2005 vacancies spread across engineering, accounts, and clerical roles. Who Can Apply?

Junior Engineer-I (Electrical/Mechanical/Civil) - Level 10 (Rs. 33,800/month):

• Qualification: Full-time 4-year Graduation Degree in Engineering (or AMIE) in the relevant discipline from a University/Institution recognized by AICTE
• Other: Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagari script and knowledge of Rajasthani culture

Junior Accountant - Level 10 (Rs. 33,800/month):

• Qualification: Graduation Degree in Commerce/Business Administration, OR Intermediate exam of ICAI/ICWA, OR MBA, OR M.Com (2 years)
• Additional: Computer certificate — DOEACC "O"/Higher Level, NIELIT certificate, COPA/DPCS, or equivalent computer qualification

Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II - Level 5 (Rs. 20,800/month):

• Qualification: Senior Secondary (12th) pass from a recognized Board
• Additional: Computer certificate — DOEACC "O"/Higher Level, NIELIT certificate, COPA/DPCS, RSCIT, or equivalent computer qualification

Candidates appearing in their final year/semester can also apply, but must acquire the qualification by the date fixed for document verification.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 40 years old for Junior Engineer-I (Electrical in RVUN/JVVN/AVVN/JdVVN, and Mechanical in RVUN), and 21 to 43 years for Junior Engineer-I (Electrical/Civil in RVPN), as on 1 January 2027
• You should be between 18 and 40 years old for Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II, relaxed up to 43 years as on 1 January 2027
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for male SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS candidates; 5 years for women (UR); 10 years for women (SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS); additional 5 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD); up to 15 years for Ex-servicemen (capped at age 50)
• No upper age limit for in-service candidates of the same Nigam, widows, and divorced women

Salary

• Junior Engineer-I and Junior Accountant: Level-10 of the Pay Matrix, minimum basic pay Rs. 33,800 per month after probation; fixed remuneration of Rs. 23,700 per month during the 2-year Probationer Trainee period
• Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II: Level-5 of the Pay Matrix, minimum basic pay Rs. 20,800 per month after probation; fixed remuneration of Rs. 14,600 per month during the 2-year Probationer Trainee period
• You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Nigam rules

Selection Process

Selection differs slightly by post. There is no interview for any post.

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): For Junior Engineer-I and Junior Accountant, a 2-hour MCQ exam with Part-A (60% weightage — subject knowledge at degree level) and Part-B (40% weightage — Reasoning, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Hindi, and English)
2. Pre-Examination and Main Examination (Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II): A screening Pre-exam followed by a Main exam, both covering Reasoning, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Hindi, and English at Class-X level; Main exam carries 40% weightage
3. Typing Test (Junior Assistant/Commercial Assistant-II only): Hindi and English typing, each with a Speed Test and Efficiency Test (10 minutes, 25 marks each) — this carries 60% weightage in the final merit
4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates (about 2x vacancies per category) must appear with original certificates

Minimum qualifying marks: 30% for UR candidates, 20% for SC/ST/BC/MBC/EWS/Ex-servicemen/PwBD candidates. There is negative marking for wrong answers in the Junior Engineer-I, Junior Accountant, and Junior Assistant/CA-II Main exam (no negative marking in the JA/CA-II Pre-exam).
