RITES Group GM/GM Mechanical Recruitment 2026: Overview
RITES Limited is inviting serving railway officers for Group General Manager and General Manager (Mechanical) under Vacancy Circular No. 18/26 (D). Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical engineering functions across assigned RITES projects
- Review and approve technical designs, specifications, and quality standards for rolling stock and mechanical systems
- Coordinate with railway zones, project authorities, and client organizations on technical matters
- Monitor project execution timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and managers in the mechanical discipline
- Ensure compliance with railway safety standards and statutory regulations
- Represent RITES in technical committees and client meetings
- Report project status and technical issues to senior management

Serving IRSME (Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers) officer at SAG/NFSG/SG level with a minimum of 18 years of Group A service
