DFCCIL is hiring one General Manager (Technical) at its Corporate Office in Noida on a deputation basis. Dedicated Freight Corridor Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has issued Vacancy Notice No. 30/2026 for one General Manager (Technical) post at its Corporate Office in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, to be filled on a deputation basis for 3 years, extendable up to 5 years (subject to exemption from the immediate absorption rule by the Department of Public Enterprises). This is a senior SAG-level engineering leadership role overseeing planning, execution and maintenance of civil works across the Dedicated Freight Corridor network. Officers from Indian Railways (especially IRSE), the Engineering Department of Indian Railways, Central/State Government departments, and Central PSUs working in the relevant discipline can apply through proper channel.

Who Can Apply?

You can apply for this post if you fall in either of these two groups:

• Government officers: Currently working in an analogous grade, i.e. SAG (Level-14) in the relevant discipline, OR in SG (Level-13) with at least 17 years of service in Group A in the relevant discipline, from a Central/State Government department, subordinate/attached office, autonomous body, CPSU, joint venture, or any organization with a minimum 50% Central/State Government stake.
• PSU officers: Working in an analogous grade of Rs. 1,20,000-2,80,000 (IDA) (E8) in the relevant discipline, OR in Rs. 1,00,000-2,60,000 (IDA) (E7) with at least four years of service in that grade.

Job Profile: The selected officer will handle planning, execution and maintenance of civil works — including preparation of GAD/TAD, estimates, tendering, and execution of formation, bridges, and track works — while liaising with Railways and State Government officials and monitoring the performance of new materials, innovations and technologies under trial. You will be expected to bring your prior experience in large-scale railway or PSU civil engineering projects, and to work closely with DFCCIL’s planning, procurement and site execution teams to keep corridor construction and maintenance on schedule. Since this is a corporate-level position, you will also represent the organization in coordination meetings with zonal railways, state governments and other stakeholders involved in the freight corridor project.

Age Limit

• You should not be more than 55 years old as on the closing date of this vacancy notice (22 August 2026).
• The cut-off date for both age and eligibility is the closing date of the vacancy notice, not the date of application.

Salary

• You will draw your parent pay plus a deputation allowance, along with all other perks and allowances as applicable under DFCCIL policy.
• This works out to roughly Rs. 1,44,200 to Rs. 2,18,200 per month under Pay Level 14 of the 7th Central Pay Commission for government-side officers.
• PSU officers on equivalent IDA scales (E7/E8) draw pay on the corresponding deputation terms.
