Central Sanskrit University, established under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, is the largest multi-campus Sanskrit language university in the world with 12 campuses across India. The Shri Maharaja Ranbir Singh Campus in Kot Bhalwal, Jammu has released Advertisement No. CSUJ/Recruitment/Estate Officer/2025-26/1643 dated 27 March 2026 for the engagement of an Estate Officer on a contractual basis. The selected candidate will manage the university's estate operations including building maintenance, infrastructure upkeep, and campus facility management.

Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• Essential: A Second-Class Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in construction and maintenance of Building, Transport, and Estate Management
• Retired Civil Engineers from Central Government, State Government, or Autonomous bodies are also eligible to apply

Skills Required

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to operate in a professional manner at a senior level
• Knowledge of land management, building control, and environmental issues
• Experience in supply chain management and vendor coordination

• Handle repairs and maintenance of civil, electrical, and plumbing needs for all campus buildings including hostels, residences, and the main building
• Manage maintenance schedules and supply chain operations for the campus
• Monitor STP, Power Station, Solar energy plant, DG sets, power backups, rain water harvesting systems, ACs, water coolers, and overhead water tanks
• Keep uninterrupted general water supply and ensure clean potable water quality management across the campus
• Coordinate vendor agreements and monitor performance for outsourced services including gardening, housekeeping, and security
• Manage roads, street lights, drainage systems, and guest house hospitality operations
• Prepare and oversee the annual estate budget and manage payrolls of contractual labourers
• Follow fire safety compliance requirements and plan active safety measures for campus protection
