Anganwadi Workers (Sanginis) are the backbone of the government's Integrated Child Development Services scheme at the village level. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Minimum 10+2 Pass, maximum Graduation. Candidates with a qualification higher than graduation will not be considered.
• Gender: Only women candidates can apply.
• Domicile: Must be a domicile of the UT of Jammu & Kashmir.
• Residence: You must be a resident of the electoral ward where the Anganwadi Centre is located.

Age Limit

• Women candidates should be between 18 and 37 years old.
• Bonus Points: If you belong to the family of a retired Anganwadi Worker, you get an additional 2 percent points in the merit list.
• Tie-breaker: If two candidates score equal marks, the one with higher age will be preferred.

Selection Process (No Written Exam, No Interview)

Selection is done purely on merit:

2. Bonus Points: Candidates from the family of a retired Anganwadi Worker get 2 additional percent points.
