BEML Limited Executive Posts Recruitment 2026 - 13 Posts

BEML Limited (formerly Bharat Earth Movers Limited), a leading multi-technology Defence and Aerospace PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, has announced recruitment for 13 executive positions under Advertisement No. KP/S/02/2026 dated 11.03.2026. These openings span four high-growth divisions: Futuristic Product Innovation and Incubation Centre (FPI&IC), Aerospace, Maritime Business, and Commuter Rail. Posts range from Engineer (Grade II) all the way up to Executive Director (Grade X), making this a rare opportunity for both early-career and senior professionals in the engineering domain.

Who Can Apply?

Head FPI&IC (Executive Director / CGM):

• Qualification: Full-time First Class Degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering with M.Tech/MS in Design from a recognised university
• Experience: Minimum 25 years for Executive Director (Gr X) or 21 years for CGM (Gr IX), with at least 5 years in Engineering Design and Research at a senior level
• Added Advantage: Project Management certification

Asst. General Manager - Maritime Business:

• Qualification: Full-time First Class Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Naval Architecture Engineering
• Experience: Minimum 13 years of relevant post-qualification experience in acquisitions, perspective planning, SQR formulation, RFI/RFP handling and post-contract management
• Desirable: Navy Commander rank or Coast Guard equivalent

Aerospace Posts (Asst. Manager / Manager):

• Qualification: Full-time First Class Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (varies by position)
• Experience: 4 years for Asst. Manager (Gr III) or 8 years for Manager (Gr IV) in the Aerospace domain
• Skills Required: CATIA V5, Hypermesh, Nastran, AutoCAD Electrical (varies by role)

Commuter Rail and Aerospace Engineer / Asst. Manager Posts:

• Qualification: Full-time First Class Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering
• Experience: 2 years for Engineer (Gr II) or 4 years for Asst. Manager (Gr III)
• Mandatory: Hands-on experience in Rolling Stock Maintenance (for Commuter Rail) or Aerospace manufacturing processes

First Class means 60% aggregate marks. SC/ST and PwD candidates get a 5% relaxation in qualifying marks.

Age Limit

• Engineer (Grade II): Up to 29 years
• Assistant Manager (Grade III): Up to 30 years
• Manager (Grade IV): Up to 34 years
• Asst. General Manager (Grade VI): Up to 42 years
• Chief General Manager (Grade IX): Up to 51 years
• Executive Director (Grade X): Up to 57 years
• Age is calculated as on 30 March 2026
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC (NCL), 10 years additional for PwD candidates (minimum 40% disability)
• Additional relaxation for equivalent excess post-qualification experience, up to a maximum age of 57 years

Salary

• Engineer (Grade II): Rs. 40,000 - 1,40,000 per month
• Assistant Manager (Grade III): Rs. 50,000 - 1,60,000 per month
• Manager (Grade IV): Rs. 60,000 - 1,80,000 per month
• Asst. General Manager (Grade VI): Rs. 80,000 - 2,20,000 per month
• Chief General Manager (Grade IX): Rs. 1,20,000 - 2,80,000 per month
• Executive Director (Grade X): Rs. 1,50,000 - 3,00,000 per month
• You will also get Variable DA, Perquisites and Allowances (currently 13.78% of Basic Pay under the Cafeteria System), Company Accommodation or HRA, Provident Fund, Gratuity and Performance Related Pay

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their applications, qualifications and experience
2. Assessment: Shortlisted candidates will be called for assessment (interview or skill evaluation as determined by BEML)
3. Pre-Employment Medical Examination: Selected candidates must meet BEML's medical fitness standards
4. Document Verification: Original documents will be verified before final selection. Any discrepancy will lead to rejection

• Handle design, development and engineering activities for aerospace structures, defence platforms, rail coaches or maritime projects as assigned
• Manage production planning, scheduling and quality assurance of components and assemblies
• Prepare technical documentation including process sheets, route cards, BOMs and engineering drawings
• Work with cross-functional teams covering manufacturing, materials, testing and vendor management
• Follow international standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100D, EN, IEC and MIL specifications relevant to the domain
• Assist in business development, technology transfer and coordination with defence and government stakeholders
• Monitor maintenance systems and ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards for rolling stock
