Anna University Centre for Aerospace Research (CASR) Project Staff Recruitment 2026 - 4 Posts

Anna University, through its Centre for Aerospace Research (CASR) at the MIT Campus, Chennai, has released a notification for 4 Project Staff positions. These posts are created under a Tamil Nadu Innovation Initiatives (TANII) Scheme 2025-26 project to design and build a Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) drone training, testing, and operations ecosystem at Chettinad Airport, running for three years. As India's drone industry grows under the government's Drone Rules 2021, CASR is building a dedicated facility to train pilots, test UAVs beyond visual range, and support real-world drone operations. Selection is through an interview only, with no written exam. This is a strong opportunity for candidates with drone, UAV, or avionics experience who want to work on a cutting-edge aerospace research project at one of Tamil Nadu's leading technical universities.
