AIIMS Jodhpur is hiring 2 Lab Technicians for a research project under the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP) in Rajasthan. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Jodhpur has released a walk-in notice for 2 Lab Technician posts under the research project "HIV Surveillance and Epidemiology Activities Under the National AIDS Control Programme (NACP)", led by Principal Investigator Dr. Akhil Dhanesh Goel, Department of Community Medicine & Family Medicine. Selected candidates will be posted across various districts of Rajasthan based on survey site requirements. This is a purely temporary, project-based role, with the tenure running until 30 November 2026, extendable based on project needs.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: 12th pass in Science subjects with a 2-year Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT), OR a 1-year DMLT plus 1 year of relevant experience, OR 2 years of field/laboratory experience in a recognized government organization.
• Desirable: A B.Sc. in Life Science is preferred (counted as 3 years' work experience), along with experience in sample collection, handling, and laboratory assays, and basic computer knowledge for report preparation.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 18,000 per month.
• This is a fixed, consolidated amount and no additional allowances are mentioned.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through the following steps:

1. Walk-in Interview: Held on 17 August 2026 at 9:00 AM. Reporting closes at 9:30 AM, after which no candidates will be entertained.
2. Written Exam (if required): Conducted only if a large number of eligible applications are received.
3. Document Verification: Selected candidates must visit AIIMS Jodhpur in person for verification of original documents.
