MLSU Visiting Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

The Department of Visual Arts, UCSSH at Mohanlal Sukhadia University (MLSU), Udaipur is holding a walk-in interview to engage Visiting Faculty for its Skill Development Centre. The centre runs under the RUSA 2.0 project and offers six-month diploma courses in art, design and video.

This is not a regular teaching job. You are engaged on a temporary, period basis for the 2026-27 session and paid an honorarium for each period at rates the university approves. It suits working artists, designers and video editors, as well as retired university or college teachers and teachers working in other institutions, who all have their own category on the form.

Posts and Disciplines

Faculty are needed for four skill courses. Pick the course that matches your subject, because the qualification must be in that specific subject:

• Certificate in Traditional Art Appreciation: teaching for the course on traditional art forms.
• Certificate in Academic Art Study: teaching for the course on academic art practice.
• Certificate in Multimedia Design: teaching for the multimedia design course.
• Certificate in Video Graphy and Editing: teaching for the videography and video editing course.

Your experience must also be in the specific field you apply for, backed by experience certificates.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Temporary engagement: the engagement is temporary and can be ended at any time without notice.
• Period-based pay: you agree to take the teaching assignments allotted on period basis at the honorarium rates approved by the university.
• Affidavit: you must submit an affidavit when classes are allotted to you.
• No travel allowance: no TA/DA is paid for attending the interview.
• Complete forms only: an incomplete form is rejected without any notice.
