This is a purely temporary, project-linked position with an initial term of one year, extendable based on the project's duration. As part of this role, you will train hospital lab staff on basic microbiological techniques, coordinate isolate transfer between secondary care hospitals, and help run periodic workshops and awareness programs on antimicrobial resistance. Candidates with a lab technology or microbiology background who want hands-on experience in a national AMR surveillance program should attend the interview.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT/DMLT) with antimicrobial/antifungal susceptibility testing (AST/AFST) experience of 5 years, OR a three-year graduate degree in a relevant subject with 2 years of experience in microbiology.
• Skills: You should be comfortable using computers and be willing to do field work as required by the project.
• Nature of Post: This position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project — there is no automatic path to a permanent role at AIIMS or ICMR.

Age Limit

• You should be under 30 years of age.
• Age Relaxation: Some age concession may be given for experience in other research projects, considered on a case-by-case basis.

Salary

• The selected candidate will get a consolidated salary of Rs. 24,000 per month.
• This is a project-funded, temporary post, so no separate DA/HRA is mentioned beyond the consolidated pay.
