All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi Scientist and Optometrist Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts
AIIMS New Delhi is one of India's leading public medical institutes, and its Dr. Rajendra Prasad Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences is among the top eye-care and vision-research centres in the country. The centre has released a notification for 2 contractual posts attached to a research project titled "Prospective, Post-Approval Phase IV Study of the iStent inject® W Trabecular Micro-Bypass System". The iStent inject W is a minimally invasive device used during glaucoma surgery, and this project studies its effectiveness in patients with Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma, Pseudo-exfoliative Glaucoma, and Pigmentary Glaucoma — all forms of glaucoma that can damage vision if untreated. No written exam is required for either post — candidates are shortlisted directly from their resumes for an interview. This is a good opportunity for ophthalmology doctors and optometrists who want hands-on clinical research experience at one of India's most respected medical institutes.
