National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) Consultant - Certification Unit Recruitment 2026

The National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) is a technical support institution under the National Health Mission (NHM), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare. It runs an independent Certification Unit under its Quality and Patient Safety (QPS) Division to manage Quality Assessment and Certification of public health facilities under the National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS). NHSRC is now looking for a Consultant to manage data, coordinate national-level assessments, and support certification activities across the country. You will be based in New Delhi with travel to states and districts, and your initial contract runs till 31 March 2028 with further extensions possible based on your performance. Selected candidates could also be considered for other similar positions at NHSRC. The role reports to the Advisor - QPS and expects a full-time commitment.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MBBS / BDS / BAMS / BHMS / B.Sc. Nursing / B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biotechnology, Computer Science, IT, or Applied Sciences, along with a 2-year full-time postgraduate diploma or degree in Hospital Management, Health Administration, or Public Health (with specialization in Health Information Technology) from a recognized institute.
• Experience: At least 2 years of post-qualification experience after your PG, including at least 1 year of experience implementing National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) at district, state, or national level public health facilities.
• Note: Only full-time regular degrees and postgraduate qualifications count. Diploma, certificate, executive, distance, online, part-time, or correspondence qualifications will not be considered.
• Skills: You should be comfortable using IT tools including MS Excel and Power BI, and have a good clinical background with strong writing skills.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 45 years old as on the date of receiving your application.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a salary between Rs. 60,000 and Rs. 1,20,000 per month, based on your qualification and experience.
• You also get free accidental insurance, subsidized medical insurance, mobile bill reimbursement, and laptop reimbursement as per NHSRC policy.
• You get 30 days of consolidated leave a year, and fully paid maternity leave for female consultants as per Government of India policy.
• You get performance-linked annual increments, plus TA/DA and a per diem allowance for on-duty travel to states and districts.

Selection Process

The selection process may include the following stages:

1. Written Test (if conducted): You need a minimum of 70% marks to qualify. If two or more candidates score equally, all of them move ahead.
2. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview.
