AIIMS Delhi Project Research Scientist and Project Nurse Recruitment 2026 - 2 Posts
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has invited applications for 2 research staff posts under an ICMR Extramural Project titled "Implementing Communication Strategies to Improve the Quality of Life of Cancer Survivors and Caregivers" (Project Code I-1787), based at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Dr. B.R.A. Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (IRCH). Both posts are purely contractual and tied to the duration of the project. This is a good opportunity for MBBS/BDS graduates interested in oncology research, and for nursing graduates who want project-based clinical research experience at one of India's top medical institutes.
The project is funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) under its Extramural Projects scheme, which supports focused, time-bound health research studies at recognized medical institutions across the country. Working on this project will give you practical, hands-on exposure to cancer patient communication research, data collection, and scientific documentation at a leading government hospital — experience that is valuable if you are building a career in medical research or oncology.
