All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has invited applications for 2 research staff posts under an ICMR Extramural Project titled "Implementing Communication Strategies to Improve the Quality of Life of Cancer Survivors and Caregivers" (Project Code I-1787), based at the Department of Radiation Oncology, Dr. B.R.A. Institute Rotary Cancer Hospital (IRCH). Both posts are purely contractual and tied to the duration of the project. Who Can Apply?

For Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) - Rs. 56,000/month:

• Qualification: MBBS or BDS degree.
• Preferred: Research experience, preferably in oncology, along with skills in research grant writing, protocol development, research paper publication, and research methodology.
• Preferred: Ability to use modern software and tools, with analytical, technical, and conceptual skills for preparing reports, presentations, and decision-making documents.
• Preferred: Experience in information and knowledge management or communication projects in oncology, plus data analysis, project writing, and scientific publication.

For Project Nurse-I - Rs. 18,000/month:

• Qualification: A 2-year Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife (ANM) course, OR a graduate degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Knowledge of IT applications and MS-Office, along with experience in data collection, data cleaning, and generating queries from research datasets.

Salary

• Project Research Scientist-I: Rs. 56,000 per month + 30% HRA (approx. Rs. 72,800 per month total).

• Both salaries are fixed as per ICMR norms for contractual project staff, and are separate from any other allowance the project may provide.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)
