The last date to send your application by email is 17 August 2026. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) New Delhi Field Worker Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post
All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has released a notification for 1 Field Worker post in the Department of Biochemistry. This position is attached to a project funded by the Department of Health Research (DHR), focused on studying phosphoproteomic markers and blood-based miRNA profiling to predict which patients with high-risk Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS) are likely to progress to Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), and to understand how inflammation plays a role in this progression. You only need a 10+2 pass qualification to apply — no graduate degree is required, which makes this a good entry-level opportunity in medical research for candidates from any academic background. Candidates with prior hands-on experience in blood drawing or immunohistochemistry techniques will get priority during shortlisting, but this experience is not compulsory to apply.
Who Can Apply?
- Qualification: You must have passed 10+2 (Class 12) from a recognized board.
- Preferred Experience: Candidates with prior research experience in blood drawing and/or immunohistochemistry will be given priority.
- Nature of Work: The role involves regular interaction with patients and hospital staff, so candidates comfortable working in a clinical/hospital environment are best suited for this post.
Salary
- You will get a stipend as per DHR (Department of Health Research) norms for the duration of the project.
- The stipend amount will be communicated to shortlisted candidates at the time of the interview, since it is not fixed as a flat figure in the advertisement.
Selection Process
The selection for this post will be done in 2 stages:
- CV Screening: AIIMS will shortlist candidates based on their CV, qualification, and relevant experience mentioned in the application.
- Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be informed about the interview by email. There is no written exam for this post, so your CV needs to clearly highlight your qualification and any related experience.
Since this is a small, project-specific hiring drive, AIIMS is unlikely to send individual rejection emails — if you do not hear back by email after the closing date, you can assume you were not shortlisted for the interview stage.
How to Apply
- Prepare your CV with your qualification details, contact information, and any relevant research or clinical experience.
- Write a short covering note mentioning the post (Field Worker) and the project title in your email.
- Email your CV to icmrproject@outlook.com.
- Make sure your email reaches before 17 August 2026, 5:00 PM — applications sent after this time may not be considered.
