Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a Grant-in-Aid Institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has released Advertisement No. AD/VAR/2026/12 for a walk-in interview to fill 1 Scientific Assistant 'B' (Transfusion Medicine) post at the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre (MPMMCC), BHU Campus, Varanasi. This is an ad-hoc appointment, initially for six months or until a regular candidate joins the post, whichever comes earlier. This role is ideal for lab science graduates with hands-on blood bank experience who want to work in a premier cancer care institution.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification (Option 1): B.Sc. (Biochemistry / Chemistry / Botany / Zoology / Microbiology) with minimum 50% marks, plus a Degree/Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT)/Blood Bank Technology from a recognized university, along with 1 year of experience in an FDA-licensed Blood Bank.
• Qualification (Option 2): B.Sc. (Medical Laboratory Technology) with minimum 50% marks, along with 2 years of experience in an FDA-licensed Blood Bank.

Age Limit

• You should be up to 30 years old as on the walk-in interview date (7 August 2026).

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a monthly pay of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 30,000 on a consolidated basis.
• This is an ad-hoc appointment, initially for six months or till the regular post is filled, whichever is earlier.
