Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), one of India's most prestigious cancer research and treatment institutions, has invited Indian nationals for a Walk-In Interview for the post of Ad-Hoc Senior Resident in the Department of Anaesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain at Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai. The recruitment is for a short fixed tenure ending 31 July 2026. This is a great opportunity for MD/DNB Anaesthesiology doctors to get hands-on experience at a premier cancer hospital under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India. No written exam — selection is purely interview-based.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MD (Anaesthesiology) OR equivalent PG degree recognised by National Medical Commission (NMC). DNB holders are also eligible.
• Nationality: Indian Nationals only.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years (as on the date of walk-in interview — 08 May 2026)
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
  • OBC: 3 years relaxation
  • Physically Handicapped: 10 years relaxation

Salary

• MD/DNB holders: Rs. 1,33,623 per month (Gross Pay)
• This is a consolidated remuneration — no separate DA/HRA components listed in the notification.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is through a direct Walk-In Interview:

1. Document Verification: Report between 01:30 PM and 02:00 PM at the venue with original documents and attested copies.
2. Walk-In Interview: Interview starts at 2:30 PM on 08 May 2026 at the Office of the Director (Academics), Homi Bhabha Block, 13th Floor, Room No. 1301, Tata Memorial Hospital, Parel, Mumbai.

Selected candidates must join immediately if offered the post.

• Provide anaesthesia care for oncology patients undergoing surgical procedures at Tata Memorial Hospital
• Manage patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Critical Care ward
• Assist in pain management services for cancer patients
• Monitor patient vitals and post-operative recovery in the anaesthesia recovery room
• Work under supervision of senior faculty in the Department of Anaesthesiology, Critical Care & Pain
• Maintain proper documentation of anaesthesia records and patient case files
• Respond to emergency calls and assist in resuscitation procedures as required
