TMC Ad-hoc Medical Officer (Plastic Surgery) Recruitment 2026: Overview

Tata Memorial Centre (TMC), a grant-in-aid institution under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, is hiring an Ad-hoc Medical Officer in Plastic Surgery for the Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya Cancer Centre (MPMMCC) and Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital in Varanasi, part of TMC's network of regional cancer centres. The role focuses on onco-reconstruction and microvascular surgery for cancer patients who need reconstructive procedures after tumour removal. The selected doctor will initially hold the post for six months or until a regular post is filled, whichever comes first. Once you join TMC, you'll be given an academic designation — Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor — as per National Medical Commission norms, based on your qualifications and experience. Surgeons who trained in or practised onco-reconstructive and microvascular techniques during or after their M.Ch are well suited to this role.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The appointment is for six months initially, or until the post is filled on a regular basis, whichever is earlier.
• Academic Designation: Your title (Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor) will be assigned after joining, based on National Medical Commission norms.
