Who Can Apply?

Educational Qualification

• You must have a Master's degree with 55% marks (or equivalent grade) in Social Sciences / Social Work / Related fields from an Indian university or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Additional Eligibility (A or B):

• Option A: You must have cleared NET (UGC/CSIR) or a similar test like SLET/SET, OR you must have been awarded a Ph.D. degree in line with the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of M.Phil./Ph.D.) Regulations 2009 or 2016.
• Option B: You hold a Ph.D. degree from a foreign university ranked in the top 500 of the World University Rankings (QS / Times Higher Education / ARWU Shanghai).

Desirable Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Social Sciences / Social Work
• Experience teaching practice-based skill learning programmes at university level
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment across diverse skill sectors
• Teaching or work experience in university or industry, with proof of integrated curriculum design
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to design state-of-the-art syllabi and curricula in skill education areas

Salary

• With Ph.D.: Consolidated salary of Rs. 1,00,595 per month (Academic Level-10, 7th CPC)
• Without Ph.D.: Consolidated salary of Rs. 89,435 per month (Academic Level-10, 7th CPC)
• The post is on a contract basis for one year and is extendable based on performance.

Selection Process

Selection is based on shortlisting and interview. The steps are:

Candidates currently employed must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their employer. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
