Who Can Apply?

PGT Mathematics

• Qualification: You need a two-year Integrated Post Graduate M.Sc. course in Mathematics/Applied Mathematics with at least 50% marks, or a Master's Degree in Mathematics with 50% marks.
• Also required: B.Ed from a recognised university and proficiency in teaching in English medium.
• Desirable: Public school teaching experience, higher qualification, CTET, sports/co-curricular skills and computer application knowledge.

TGT Hindi, Mathematics, English and Science

• Qualification: You need a four-year integrated degree from Regional College of Education/NCERT or another NCTE-recognised institution with at least 50% marks, or a Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in the relevant subject and 50% aggregate.
• Also required: B.Ed from a recognised university and CTET Paper II conducted by CBSE.
• Medium: TGT Hindi and TGT Mathematics need proficiency in English and Hindi medium; TGT English and TGT Science need proficiency in English medium.

Nursing Assistant

• Qualification: Nursing Diploma/Degree with minimum 5 years' experience, or ex-serviceman of Medical Assistant trade with at least 5 years' service after training.
• Desirable skills: Communication in English, burn and basic dressing, snake bite treatment, fracture treatment, CPR and working computer knowledge.

PTI/PEM-cum Matron, Band Master and Medical Officer

• PTI/PEM-cum Matron: Bachelor Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed.) or equivalent; sports achievement is desirable.
• Band Master: Band Master/Band Major/Drum Major course from AEC Training College and Centre, Pachmarhi or equivalent Naval/Air Force course. Physical fitness is required.
• Medical Officer: MBBS degree. Paediatric specialisation and 2 years' medical doctor experience are desirable. The doctor must stay on campus and attend medical emergencies.

Age Limit

• PGT Mathematics: 21 to 40 years
• TGT Hindi, TGT Mathematics, TGT English and TGT Science: 21 to 35 years
• Nursing Assistant: 21 to 50 years
• PTI/PEM-cum Matron (Female): 18 to 50 years
• Medical Officer: Not more than 50 years
• Reference date: Age is checked as on the last date for receipt of application.

Salary

• PGT Mathematics: Pay Level 8, Cell 1 - Rs. 47,600 per month plus allowances; Level 8 pay matrix goes up to Rs. 1,51,100.
• TGT Hindi, Mathematics, English and Science: Pay Level 7, Cell 1 - Rs. 44,900 per month plus allowances.
• Nursing Assistant: Pay Level 4, Cell 1 - Rs. 25,500 per month plus allowances.
• PTI/PEM-cum Matron: Consolidated salary of Rs. 25,000 per month except vacation period.
• Band Master: Consolidated salary of Rs. 36,500 per month except vacation period.
• Medical Officer: Consolidated salary of Rs. 70,125 per month except vacation period.
• Perks: Regular staff get DA, transport allowance, medical allowance, LTC, NPS, subsidised education for two children, gratuity and leave encashment as per Sainik Schools Society rules. Many posts also include rent-free campus accommodation and free meals with cadets.

Selection Process
