Kamdhenu University Senior Research Fellow Recruitment 2026: Overview

Kamdhenu University (KU), set up by the Government of Gujarat under Gujarat Act No. 9 of 2009, is hiring Senior Research Fellows (SRF) through its Directorate of Research. The posts are under the research scheme "Development of methods for detection of adulteration in milk and milk products" (scheme B.H.0105060088), based at SMC College of Dairy Science, Anand.

The project works on finding better ways to catch adulteration in milk and dairy products, so it suits you if you have an M.Tech in Dairy Chemistry, Dairy Technology or Dairy Microbiology and want hands-on research experience. This is a project-linked fellowship filled through a walk-in interview, not a regular university job.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract only: The appointment is purely contractual and gives no claim to a job once the research scheme ends.
• Termination: The university can end the fellowship at any time without notice.
• Fellowship step-up: The monthly fellowship is higher in the third year, and HRA is paid on top in every year.
• Screening test: If a large number of candidates turn up, the university will hold a written test to shortlist them before the interview.
• No travel allowance: No TA/DA or other expenses are paid for attending the interview.
