SCTIMST Senior Project Associate Recruitment 2026: Overview

Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST) has issued three Senior Project Associate notices for its Biomedical Technology Wing in Thiruvananthapuram. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Adverts 35 and 36: Appointment is only up to 13 December 2026. These are temporary project engagements and do not create a regular institute appointment.
• Advert 37: The initial appointment is for six months and is likely to be extended up to 13 June 2029. An extension is a possibility stated in this notice, not an assured full-term appointment.
• Advert 35 reservation: If no eligible ST applicant is available, SC applicants may be considered; if no eligible SC applicant is available, UR applicants may be considered.
• Advert 36 reservation: If no eligible SC applicant is available, OBC applicants may be considered; if no eligible OBC applicant is available, UR applicants may be considered.
• Advert 37 reservation: UR applicants may be considered if no eligible EWS applicant is available.
• Experience: Count relevant industrial or academic experience only after the required M.Tech or M.E. qualification. Experience is not essential for Ph.D applicants; medical-device research experience is desirable for them.
• Screening: If attendance is high, SCTIMST may conduct a qualifying written screening test. Its marks will not count towards final ranking.
• Serving applicants: Bring a No Objection Certificate from your present employer. The institute will not pay TA or DA for attending.

Attend the walk-in at the Biomedical Technology Wing, Satelmond Palace, Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram 695012. Report by 9:30 AM; the interview starts at 10:30 AM and late arrivals will not be considered. Complete the prescribed Recruitment Report Form before reaching the venue and bring your bio-data and supporting originals with self-attested copies.
