About This Job

Apply for 1 Manufacturing Chemist post in RCC Thiruvananthapuram. B.Pharm with 6 months experience. Salary: Rs 27,040/month. Walk-in: 5 Nov 2026.

RCC Manufacturing Chemist Recruitment 2026: Overview

Regional Cancer Centre, Thiruvananthapuram (RCC), the State Cancer Institute run under the Government of Kerala, is hiring a Manufacturing Chemist (Trainee) through a walk-in interview. The post is based at the Thiruvananthapuram campus, and it is a one-year contract engagement with a consolidated monthly pay — there is no written test, so your interview performance and documents decide the selection. If you are a B.Pharm graduate who has already spent some time on a pharmaceutical production floor, this is a good way to move into a large public cancer hospital.

The notice asks for hands-on manufacturing experience gained after your degree. Internship or training done during the B.Pharm course is unlikely to count, because the notice clearly says the experience must be full-time and post-qualification. Keep your experience certificate ready with clear joining and relieving dates.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Nature of post: Purely contractual for one year. The notice does not promise extension or regular absorption.
  • Trainee designation: The post is advertised as Manufacturing Chemist (Trainee), even though the notice still asks for prior manufacturing experience.
  • Consolidated pay: The monthly amount is consolidated, which means no separate DA or HRA is added on top.
  • Experience rule: Only full-time practical work as a Manufacturing Chemist in pharmaceutical manufacturing, earned after your qualification, is accepted.
  • Travel costs: No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview, so plan your travel to Thiruvananthapuram at your own cost.
  • Documents are compulsory: Candidates who turn up without the listed originals and attested copies will not be allowed into the interview.
