• Human Resource Analyst: Computer Science background with predictive analytics, workforce planning or process automation experience.
• Blast Furnace Consultant: Metallurgy background with blast furnace operations experience.
• Digital Consultant: Electrical, electronics, computer science, instrumentation or related engineering with programming, web, app or dashboard development experience.
• Design Consultant: Mechanical engineering with design and drawing experience using AutoCAD or Navisworks.

Young Professional 3 - Minimum 10 Years Experience

• Specialist for PLC, DCS Engineering: Electrical, electronics, computer science or instrumentation background with PLC, DCS and SCADA work.
• Project Consultant: Electrical and electronics background with steel plant technology consultancy experience.
• Project Manager: B.E./B.Tech in any discipline with project management experience in the iron and steel industry.

Who Can Apply?

• Nationality: You must be an Indian national.
• Minimum age: You must have completed 23 years as on the closing date.
• Qualification: Engineering qualifications must be regular/full-time from a recognised institution, generally with at least 65% marks. Finance Consultant accepts CA, CS or CMA.
• Experience: You need post-qualification experience from a registered company in the role area you choose.
• One option only: You can apply for only one level and one domain.
• Distance mode: Qualifications through distance mode, correspondence course or off-campus mode are not accepted.

Age Limit

• Young Professional 1: Upper age limit is 35 years.
• Young Professional 2: Upper age limit is 38 years.
• Young Professional 3: Upper age limit is 42 years.

Monthly Fee and Benefits

• Young Professional 1: Consolidated monthly fee of Rs. 70,000.
• Young Professional 2: Consolidated monthly fee of Rs. 1,00,000.
• Young Professional 3: Consolidated monthly fee of Rs. 1,40,000.
• Annual increase: Performance-linked yearly increase may be 4%, 7% or 10%, depending on the level and performance.

Selection Process

SAIL-BSL will first scrutinise applications received by the closing date. The selection method depends on the number of valid applications received for a role.

1. Application Scrutiny: Applications will be checked against qualification, age and experience conditions.
2. CBT or Standard Test, if required: If applications are more than 5 times the requirement, SAIL-BSL may conduct a computer-based, aptitude, general management or psychometric test for shortlisting.
3. Interview / Personal Interaction: Shortlisted applicants will be assessed in physical or virtual mode for work experience, qualifications, projects and professional achievements.
4. Final Merit: If CBT is used, final merit will be prepared with 80:20 weightage for CBT and interview. If only interview is used, minimum qualifying marks will be 50%.
5. Medical Fitness and Verification: Selected applicants must submit a medical fitness certificate and may go through pre-engagement verification of credentials and character.
