RITES Ltd., a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Consultancy organization providing transport infrastructure, building and related technology services, has released notification VC numbers YP/16/26 to YP/38/26 for engagement of Individual Consultants on CV-based assignments. The recruitment covers 23 categories with positions in Chief Resident Engineer (Viaduct), Sr. Geotechnical Expert, Dy. Chief Design Expert (S&T / Electrical), Geologist, Project Engineer (Cut & Cover), Sr. Contract Expert, Senior Resident Engineers, Section Engineers, Drawing & Design Engineers and Senior QA/QC Expert. Selection is through Interview only — no written exam. The location for all posts is Haryana with deployment based on award of work.

Who Can Apply?

For Senior Expert / Chief Engineer roles (Salary Rs. 80,000 - Rs. 1,30,000):

• Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Civil, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or M.Tech in Geotechnical Engineering, or M.Sc in Geology from a recognized university / institution
• Post-qualification experience of 10 to 15 years in Railway Infrastructure projects, viaducts, geotechnical investigation, signalling design or electrification

For Senior Resident Engineer / Sr. Contract / Sr. QS Expert roles (Salary Rs. 60,000 - Rs. 70,000):

• Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from a recognized University / Institution (Degree in relevant Engineering preferred)
• Total experience of 10 years after Diploma / 7 years after Degree with at least 4-6 years in relevant field

For Section Engineer / Design Engineer / Planning Engineer roles (Salary Rs. 40,000 - Rs. 45,000):

• Diploma or Degree in Civil / Electrical / Electronics Engineering from a recognized University / Institution
• Total experience of 7 years after Diploma / 4 years after Degree in Railway Infrastructure or Signalling projects

Age Limit

• Maximum age: Not exceeding 63 years
• Age, experience and all other eligibility criteria will be reckoned as on 26 May 2026 (last date of application)
• No extension will be given beyond the age of 65 years

Salary

• Senior Roles (Chief Resident Engineer, Sr. Geotechnical Expert, Project Engineer): Rs. 1,25,000 - Rs. 1,30,000 per month
• Geologist / Geotechnical Expert: Rs. 1,10,000 per month
• Dy. Chief Design Expert / Senior QA-QC: Rs. 80,000 per month
• Senior Design Expert / Civil: Rs. 85,000 per month
• Senior Resident Engineer / Sr. Contract Expert: Rs. 70,000 per month
• Sr. QS & Billing Expert: Rs. 60,000 per month
• Section Engineer / Design / Planning Engineer: Rs. 45,000 per month
• QS and Billing Engineer: Rs. 40,000 per month
• No statutory benefits like PF / ESI / Gratuity. No TA/DA for joining or interview.

Selection Process

The mode of selection is Interview only:

1. Online Application: Submit application online through RITES Career Portal.
2. Document Scrutiny / Verification: All applications will be checked to verify your eligibility for the post. You may attend in person or online.
3. Personal Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be evaluated on Technical skills, subject knowledge, experience, communication and interpersonal skills.
4. CV Approval by Client: CVs of suitable candidates will be shared with the client. Engagement letter will be issued only after client approval.
5. Police Verification: Police verification will be done as per MHA instructions before final engagement.

There is no written exam. Actual deployment depends on award of work / project / company requirement.

• Provide consultancy and technical expertise on Railway Infrastructure projects in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or S&T discipline
• Handle design, planning, supervision or project management of viaducts, bridges, tunnels, signalling and electrification works
• Prepare detailed estimates, billing, budgeting and cost control documents for railway projects
• Carry out geotechnical investigations and prepare interpretation reports for tunnels, bridges and other structures
• Review tender documents, manage contracts and oversee bid process for railway infrastructure works
• Coordinate with client engineers, consultants and contractors to ensure quality of construction
• Maintain documentation, daily progress reports and quality assurance records as per RITES standards
• Comply with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013 and RITES Standards of Conduct
