RITES Assistant Civil Engineer Recruitment 2026 - 5 Posts

Rail India Technical and Economic Service Limited (RITES), a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has released notification for 5 Assistant Civil Engineer posts (Vacancy Code CL/03/26). RITES is a premier multi-disciplinary consultancy organization working in transport, infrastructure, and related technologies. Selection is through interview only -- there is no written exam for this recruitment. Experienced civil engineers with background in water supply, sewage treatment, and underground drainage projects should apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) from a university or institution recognized by AICTE. Sections A and B examination of the Institution of Engineers (India), treated as equivalent to a degree by the Government of India and recognized by AICTE, will also be accepted.
• Experience: You must have at least 8 years of post-qualification experience, out of which a minimum of 5 years should be in Program/Project Management or Third Party Inspection (TPI) of Water Supply Systems (WSS), Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), or Underground Drainage (UGD) projects.
• Note: Training, internship, teaching, academic, fellowship, or PhD research experience will not be counted as work experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 55 years as on 18 March 2026.
• SC/ST: 5 years relaxation
• OBC (NCL): 3 years relaxation
• PwBD: 10 years relaxation (in addition to category relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL candidates)
• J&K Domicile and Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per Government of India rules

Salary

• Monthly Basic Pay: Rs. 27,869
• Gross Monthly Pay: Rs. 50,721
• Yearly CTC: Rs. 6,08,658

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based entirely on an interview. There is no written exam for this recruitment.

1. Document Scrutiny/Verification: Your eligibility will be checked based on the documents submitted with the online application.
2. Interview (100% weightage): Shortlisted candidates will appear for an interview. The interview is divided into two parts:
   • Technical and Professional Proficiency: 65%
   • Personality, Communication, and Competency: 35%
3. Medical Examination: Selected candidates must pass a medical fitness test as per RITES rules.

Minimum qualifying marks: 60% for UR/EWS candidates, 50% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD candidates (against reserved posts). No minimum qualifying marks in aggregate.

You can appear for the interview in Hindi or English.
