Rajiv Gandhi University (RGU), Rono Hills, Doimukh has invited applications for 1 Research Assistant and 1 Field Investigator for an ICSSR-funded project titled 'Perceptions, Attitudes and Healing Practices toward Mental Illness: An In-Depth Insight into the Knowledge Systems of Traditional Healers in Arunachal Pradesh' in the Department of Psychology. The positions are purely contractual and temporary — the Research Assistant post is for 8 months and the Field Investigator post is for 6 months. Candidates with field work experience in rural or tribal areas are especially encouraged to apply.

  • Research Assistant: Rs. 37,000 per month for an 8-month duration
  • Field Investigator: Rs. 20,000 per month for a 6-month duration
  • No TA/DA will be provided for appearing at the interview.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is based on your application and an interview:

  2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview in person through email intimation, at the Department of Psychology, RGU on 28 July 2026.
