Who Can Apply?

For Research Associate:

• Qualification: Ph.D. in Animal Nutrition.
• OR: M.Sc. in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry with at least 3 years of experience (evidenced through Fellowship / Training / other engagement and additional working and research experience).

For Senior Research Fellow:

• Qualification: M.V.Sc. in Animal Nutrition with 1st division or 60% marks (or equivalent OGPA) and at least one research paper in a NAAS-rated (above 4.0) journal.
• OR: M.Sc. in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry with 1st division or 60% marks (or equivalent OGPA), one research paper in a NAAS-rated (above 4.0) journal, and at least 2 years of research experience.

Age Limit

• Maximum age is 35 years for male candidates and 40 years for female candidates.

Salary

• Research Associate: Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA (for Ph.D. degree holders).
• Senior Research Fellow: Rs. 37,000 per month + HRA for the 1st and 2nd year, rising to Rs. 42,000 per month + HRA from the 3rd year onwards.

Selection Process

Selection is mainly through a walk-in interview:

1. Written Test (if needed): If the number of candidates is high, a written test will be conducted first to shortlist candidates for the interview.
2. Walk-in Interview: Appear with your complete bio-data, application on plain paper, and a set of self-attested photocopies of your certificates.
