Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU), through the Associate Dean of Agricultural College, Kodangal (Vikarabad District), has invited applications for 3 Teaching Associates (full time) and 1 Part Time Teacher (hourly basis) to teach B.Sc. (Hons) Ag. I Year II Semester courses for 2025-26. There is no written exam — selection is based on a walk-in interview and demo class on 23 May 2026. The vacancies cover Plant Pathology, Entomology, Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry, and Veterinary & Animal Husbandry departments.

Who Can Apply?

For Teaching Associate (Full Time) — Plant Pathology:

• You need an M.Sc. or Ph.D. (Agriculture) in Plant Pathology

For Teaching Associate (Full Time) — Entomology:

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. (Agriculture) in Plant Pathology (as per notification text)

For Teaching Associate (Full Time) — Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry:

• M.Sc. or Ph.D. (Agriculture) in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry

For Part Time Teacher — Veterinary & Animal Husbandry:

• M.V.Sc. or Ph.D. in Veterinary & Animal Husbandry

Additional Requirements:

• Teaching experience, computer knowledge, and online class handling skills are essential
• You must come prepared for a demo class on a course-relevant topic
• No Objection Certificate is required if you are currently employed

Salary

• Teaching Associate (Full Time): Maximum consolidated pay of Rs. 54,000 per month (for Ph.D. holders) or Rs. 49,000 per month (for M.Sc. holders)
• Part Time Teacher (Veterinary): Rs. 1,000 per hour, not exceeding Rs. 35,000 per month
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection will be done in the following stages on the day of the walk-in:

1. Walk-in Interview: Eligible candidates may directly attend the interview on 23 May 2026 from 10:00 AM at the Office of the Associate Dean, Institute of Biotechnology (IBT), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad-500030
2. Demo Class: Candidates must come prepared for a demonstration class on a course-relevant topic
3. Document Verification: Bring one set of photocopies of all original certificates, bio-data, and other relevant documents
4. Selection Committee Decision: The decision of the selection committee will be final and binding
