Professor Jayashankar Telangana Agricultural University (PJTAU) has issued notification number 1888/Acad./BJR AGC SRCL/2025-26 dated 02 May 2026 for engaging 7 Teaching Associates on full-time temporary basis and 1 Part Time Teacher on hourly basis at Babu Jagjivan Ram Agricultural College, Sircilla. The selected candidates will teach courses for I and II year B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture students during the II semester of 2025-26. Selection is through walk-in interview only — there is no written exam.

Who Can Apply?

Teaching Associate Posts (Departments 1-6):

• Qualification: You must have an M.Sc (Ag) in the respective discipline (Agronomy, Genetics and Plant Breeding, Agricultural Economics, Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Agricultural Extension, or Horticulture)
• Preferred: Ph.D / NET in the concerned discipline with two years of teaching experience at UG level

Part Time Teacher (Animal Production):

• Qualification: You must have an M.V.Sc in Veterinary and Animal Science (LPM preferred)
• Preferred: Ph.D / NET with two years of teaching experience at UG level

Salary

• Teaching Associate (with Ph.D): Consolidated pay up to Rs. 54,000 per month
• Teaching Associate (with M.Sc only): Consolidated pay Rs. 49,000 per month
• Part Time Teacher: Rs. 1,000 per hour, not exceeding Rs. 35,000 per month

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done through walk-in interview only:

1. Walk-in Interview: Attend on the assigned date with all original certificates and one set of photocopies of bio-data, qualifications and experience
2. Document Verification: Original certificates will be verified at the venue
3. Final Selection: The decision of the selection committee is final and binding

• Evaluate student assignments, internal exams and project work
• Guide students in academic and practical learning related to agriculture
• Maintain attendance records and submit progress reports to the department head
• Participate in department meetings and academic activities of the college
