NIAB Project Technical Support-I Recruitment 2026: Overview

The BRIC-National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (BRIC-NIAB), Hyderabad, an autonomous institute of the Department of Biotechnology, is hiring a Project Technical Support-I through an online walk-in interview. The post sits in an ICMR-funded project on developing a next-generation multi-epitope vaccine against leptospirosis, led by Dr. Syed M. Faisal, Scientist-F.

This is a good fit if you hold a Class 10 pass plus a diploma such as ML, DMLT, ITI, DCA or Animal Husbandry and have already spent two years in a lab or in field work. If you have handled lab animals such as mice or goats, you will be preferred, since vaccine work of this kind relies on animal studies.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The post runs only up to 14 February 2027, so treat it as a short project engagement rather than a long-term job.
• Proof of degree: Only a Provisional Degree Certificate or Convocation Degree Certificate is accepted as proof of your qualification.
• Experience letters: Experience certificates must be issued by the Head of the Department or Office where you worked.
• Originals at joining: You submit original certificates for date of birth, qualification and experience only when you join.
• No follow-ups: NIAB will not answer interim enquiries about the status of your application.
