Who Can Apply?

Salary

• Medical Lab Technician (Pathology/Radiology): Stipend of Rs. 9,600 per month for the first 12 months, rising to Rs. 10,560 per month for the remaining training period.
• Conveyor Belt Vulcaniser: A monthly stipend applies as per the official notification.
• This is a stipend paid during training, not a regular salary — NLCIL has clearly stated that completing the apprenticeship does not guarantee a permanent job afterward.

Selection Process

Selection for NLCIL apprenticeship training is merit-based and does not involve a written exam:

1. Merit List: Candidates are shortlisted based on their marks in the qualifying +2 (HSC) examination.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must submit original certificates for verification.

Some slots are reserved for wards of NLCIL employees, wards of Project Affected Persons (PAP), and wards of NLCIL contract workmen (Indcoserve/Howsicos, AMC/BMC) — such candidates need to submit additional supporting documents along with Form-1 or Form-2 as applicable.
