NLC India Limited (NLCIL), a Navratna Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Coal, is hiring an Airport Director for its airport at Neyveli, Tamil Nadu. This is a Fixed Term Employment (FTE) position at the E6 grade level with a consolidated monthly pay of Rs. 90,000, and the contract runs for two years from the date of joining.

Selection Process

Selection will be through a Personal Interview conducted on a 20-mark scale. You need to score at least 50% (10 out of 20 marks) to qualify. If there is a high volume of applications, NLCIL may also conduct a screening test before the interview. Keep in mind that no travelling allowance will be provided for attending the interview.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day airport operations at NLCIL's Neyveli Airport
  • Handle Airport Operations, Air Traffic Services, and DGCA Licensing related functions
  • Liaise with DGCA, BCAS, IMD, and other statutory bodies for regulatory compliance
  • Ensure safety and security standards are maintained at the airport
  • Manage coordination with airlines and ground handling agencies
  • Travel for liaison work with regulatory authorities as required

Eligibility Criteria

Minimum Qualification

Full time/Part time Bachelor's Degree from a reputed University/Institution

Required Skills

Airport Operations, Air Traffic Services, DGCA Licensing, Aviation Industry experience

Age Limit

18 - 63 years (as on 01 Mar 2026)

Experience

10.0 - No limit years

Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience in Aviation Industry, with minimum 5 years continuous experience in Airport Operations/Air Traffic Services/DGCA Licensing related works. Should be working/should have worked in E6 and above grade or Commissioned Officer category in defence.
