CCI Deputy Manager Recruitment 2026: Overview

Cement Corporation of India Limited (CCI), a central government public sector undertaking that makes and sells cement, is hiring Deputy Managers at the E-2 grade on a fixed-term contract under Advertisement No. CO/05/2026. The openings span six disciplines — production, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation, civil, marketing and company secretary — and the notice says they include backlog vacancies.

This drive is aimed at experienced professionals from the cement industry. Every discipline asks for post-qualification experience, and most of it must come from cement-industry work, so freshers will not fit. Selected candidates can be posted at any CCI unit or office.

Posts and Disciplines

• Production (Post Code 01): for chemical, cement, ceramic or process engineers — or M.Sc. holders in chemistry, materials science or cement technology — who have handled plant operation, shutdown planning and capex projects.
• Mechanical (Post Code 02): for maintenance engineers with planned and condition-based maintenance experience; hands-on work with rotary equipment, heavy machinery and automated maintenance systems gets preference.
• Electrical and Instrumentation (Post Code 03): for engineers who have maintained switchyards up to 132 KV, HT/LT motors, transformers, PCC/MCC power distribution and process control systems.
• Civil (Post Code 04): for civil engineers with structural design, industrial construction, concrete silos or foundation work behind them.
• Marketing (Post Code 05): for sales and marketing professionals with channel management, CRM, billing and dispatch, and ERP/MIS exposure; this post is reserved for a person with disability (PwD).
• Company Secretary (Post Code 06): for ICSI members who have handled company secretarial work in a reputed company.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract, not permanent: The job is a fixed-term contract and gives you no claim to regular employment. You are relieved automatically when the tenure ends.
• Tenure: The first term is one year, extendable on performance up to a total of four years. Either side can end it with one month's notice or fee in lieu.
• Diploma and M.Sc. holders: Diploma holders need three extra years of post-qualification experience, and M.Sc. holders in Production need one extra year.
• Marketing experience: Engineering graduates and MBA/PGDM holders need three years of post-qualification experience; diploma and BBA (Marketing) holders need more.
• Colour blindness: Post Codes 01 to 04 are not suitable for colour-blind or visually handicapped candidates.
• Government and PSU staff: Apply through proper channel or bring an NOC to the interview; otherwise you must produce a relieving letter if selected.
• Experience counting: Only experience gained after your degree or mark sheet was issued counts.
• Shortlisting: If many people apply, CCI shortlists on relevant experience, current CTC or pay and higher qualification. A written test or group discussion may also be held before the interview.
• Interview travel: Shortlisted candidates get sleeper-class train fare by the shortest route for journeys over 50 km, but only if their original documents are in order.
• Jurisdiction: All disputes fall under the courts of Delhi only.
