The District Medical & Health Office (DM&HO), Nizamabad has released a notification to fill 7 vacant posts of Medical Officer, Staff Nurse and Supporting Staff at Basthi Dawakhanas (urban primary health clinics) in Nizamabad Town, Armoor and Bodhan under the National Health Mission. These are contract and outsourcing basis engagements filled through a district-level walk-in drive — there is no written exam. MBBS doctors, GNM/B.Sc Nursing graduates and 10th pass candidates can walk in with their certificates and apply on the spot.

Vacancy Breakdown

The Basthi Dawakhanas are spread across 3 clinics in Nizamabad Town, 3 in Armoor and 2 in Bodhan.

Out of 8 sanctioned posts in each category, the district currently has 4 Medical Officers, 7 Staff Nurses and 6 Supporting Staff in position — this drive fills the remaining gaps.

Who Can Apply?

For Medical Officer (Rs. 52,000/month):

• You must hold an MBBS degree and be registered with the Telangana State Medical Council.

For Staff Nurse (Rs. 29,900/month):

• You must have GNM or B.Sc Nursing and be registered with the Telangana Nursing Council.

For Supporting Staff (Rs. 15,600/month):

• You must have passed SSC (10th class) or an equivalent examination.

Reservation rules and preference for local candidates apply as per Government norms, and the roster continues from the previous contract recruitment in the district.

Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 44 years old as on 1 July 2025.
• Age Relaxation: SC, ST, BC and EWS candidates get 5 years relaxation. Persons with disabilities get 10 years relaxation.

Salary

• Medical Officer: Rs. 52,000 per month (Contract basis).
• Staff Nurse: Rs. 29,900 per month (Contract basis).
• Supporting Staff: Rs. 15,600 per month (Outsourcing basis).

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

A District Selection Committee picks candidates purely on merit — no interview or written test is held. The committee has 5 members: the District Collector (Chairman), Additional Collector (LB), DM&HO (Member & Convener), Deputy Director Social Welfare, and the Superintendent of GGH Nizamabad.

1. Document Verification: Bring your original and self-attested certificates for checking during the walk-in.
2. Merit List: Out of 100 total marks, 90 marks come from your marks in the qualifying exam and 10 marks are for your age.
