The Office of the District Medical and Health Officer, Mahabubnagar has announced a walk-in interview to fill 1 Medical Officer post at Basti Dawakhana, T.D Gutta, Mahabubnagar, under the National Urban Health Mission (NUHM). This is a purely temporary, contract-basis engagement for one year, with the appointment falling under the Multi Zone-II cadre. Selection is based on your qualifying exam marks and a short interview — there is no separate written test.

The National Urban Health Mission runs Basti Dawakhanas — urban primary health centres — in towns and cities across Telangana to provide affordable healthcare closer to urban and slum communities. This Medical Officer post will be based at the Basti Dawakhana in T.D Gutta, Mahabubnagar, working under the district health administration to deliver outpatient care to local residents.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MBBS degree with a valid Telangana Medical Council (TG Council) Registration Certificate.
• Unit of Appointment: Multi Zone-II cadre, on a contract basis for a period of one year.

Salary

• The selected candidate will get a remuneration of Rs. 52,000 per month on a contract basis.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is out of 100 total marks, and there is no separate written examination conducted by the office:

1. Qualifying Exam Marks: Your MBBS qualifying examination marks count for 90 marks.
2. Interview: The interview on the day carries 10 marks.

Your final selection depends on the total of these two components, so make sure you bring accurate marks memos for verification.

• SSC/Date of Birth Certificate issued by the competent government authority, as proof of age
• Intermediate or 10+2 examination certificate
• Qualifying examination (MBBS) pass certificate
• Marks memos of all years, or your consolidated marks memo for the qualifying examination
• Valid Registration Certificate from the Telangana Medical Council
• Caste certificate
• Study/Bonafide certificates from 1st to 7th class, or a residence certificate from the Tahsildar/MRO if you studied privately
• Internship completion certificate
• Aadhar card and PAN card

How to Apply

3. Submit one set of Xerox copies of all your certificates between 10:30 AM and 12:30 PM.
