Selection Process

The selection for this post (Pay Level 3, which falls under the Pay Level 7 and below category) will be done in the following stages:

1. Submission of Application: Apply only through the online link on the Institute's recruitment portal — applications through any other mode will not be considered.
2. Preliminary Written Test / Skill or Trade Test: Depending on the number of applications received, you may face a screening-level preliminary written test followed by a qualifying skill/trade test, or a qualifying skill/trade test followed directly by the final written test.
3. Final Written Test: Your final selection is based on merit in this test. It covers English language aptitude (20% weightage) — grammar, sentence correction, vocabulary and general aptitude — and computer hardware, software and networking (80% weightage), including operating systems, Linux system administration, HPC fundamentals, networking and lab maintenance tasks.
4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates for verification. No travelling allowance is paid for attending any stage of the selection.
