FDDI, an "Institution of National Importance" under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, plays an important role in imparting education, conducting research, and facilitating Indian industries in the footwear, fashion, retail and leather accessory sectors. The Institute has invited applications from experienced civil engineering professionals for 2 senior posts in its Engineering and Maintenance (Project) department at the Head Office in Noida. Both posts are on a long-term contract basis (3-5 years), extendable based on FDDI's requirements and your performance, and if appointed through this Head Office advertisement, you will need to serve a minimum of 3 years at your assigned campus before you can apply for a transfer. This is a good opportunity for senior civil engineers with a strong background in planning, designing and managing large infrastructure and construction projects.

Who Can Apply?

Chief Engineer (Rs. 1,50,000/month):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc in Civil Engineering with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute (M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in Civil Engineering preferred)
• Experience: At least 22 years of experience in planning, designing, organizing and controlling civil infrastructure, including at least 5 civil construction projects, tendering, work estimates, CPWD manuals, and civil maintenance work

Superintending Engineer (Rs. 1,20,000/month):

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc in Civil Engineering with at least 50% marks from a recognized University/Institute (M.E./M.Tech/M.Sc in Civil Engineering preferred)
• Experience: At least 20 years of experience in planning, designing, organizing and controlling civil infrastructure, including at least 5 civil construction projects, tendering, work estimates, CPWD manuals, and civil maintenance work

Age Limit

• You should be at least 18 years old, with an upper age limit of 55 years for both posts.
• The upper age limit is calculated as on the release date of the advertisement (17 July 2026).
• Reservation Policy: Age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates applies as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Chief Engineer: Rs. 1,50,000 per month (Minimum Monthly Cost-to-Institute)
• Superintending Engineer: Rs. 1,20,000 per month (Minimum Monthly Cost-to-Institute)
• Your monthly CTI includes Basic Pay, House Rent Allowance, Special Allowance, Provident Fund, Leave Encashment, Leave Travel Concession, mobile expense reimbursement, medical expense reimbursement and Gratuity.

Selection Process

FDDI will select candidates through:

2. Interview
3. Medical Examination: Your appointment will depend on your medical fitness.
